# Tracks

> List the tracks, the columns of the feature request board.

A track is a column on the feature request board, such as Requested, Planned or Done. For fields and response details, see the [API reference](/api/tracks/list).

Samples on this page use the JSON envelope (`--json`). See [Output formats](/cli/output-formats).

## List tracks

This command lists every track with its ID. Use it to find the track ID to pass to [`feature-requests move --track-id`](/cli-reference/feature-requests#move-a-feature-request). It takes no flags besides the global ones and returns one list with no `pagination` block.

```bash theme={"system"}
neetoengage tracks list
```

```json Sample output (--json) theme={"system"}
{
  "data": [
    { "id": "2f9c6a18-7e43-4b05-a1d8-6c0b3e52d974", "name": "Requested", "status": null },
    { "id": "8a4d1e67-5c29-4f30-b7a2-0e9f6d13c85b", "name": "Planned", "status": "Planned" },
    { "id": "5b8e2a64-1f07-4c93-b6d2-9a4e7c310f58", "name": "Done", "status": "Done" }
  ],
  "breadcrumbs": [
    { "label": "Move", "command": "neetoengage feature-requests move <id> --track-id <track-id>" }
  ]
}
```

`status` is the name of the public lane the track maps to, or `null` when the track has no public lane.
